Ownership

Three partners. One machine.

MagnaVolt is owned by the MagnaFlow Group and Revolt Systems, with a third partner behind the turbines themselves. Between them: decades of manufacturing scale and a family-run corporate foundation, the software and engineering, and fifty years of gas turbine expertise. All three came up in racing. None of them is new at this.

MagnaFlow Group

A privately held, Southern California company built, in its own words, on a legacy of engineering excellence and deep-rooted passion for the automotive industry. MagnaFlow has been making catalytic converters and performance exhaust for over forty years. The group now spans emissions catalyst technology, off-road engineering, vehicle chassis, and race trucks.

Precision metal manufacturing at volume, emissions expertise, and hardware built to survive the desert are the exact disciplines a deployable turbine plant demands. This is a partner with production floors and four decades of shipping product, not a balance sheet at arm's length.

Revolt Systems

A performance engineering company built, in its own words, for power without limits. Revolt was founded on a mission: high-performance electric power, and what it takes to make, govern, and keep it alive at the extremes. The work spans motors, controls, high-voltage systems, power electronics, and the software that governs them.

Revolt came up in racing, where every build is a test rig for the one after it and second best does not survive. That discipline wins world records. Revolt holds one: the fastest electric car ever recorded in any class, with a 353.4 mph SCTA record and a 357.5 mph top speed, set at Bonneville in 2021.

Turbine partner

Fifty years in gas turbines, and the access to them. Like the other two partners, this one came up in racing. The turbine is not a component we source; it is the premise of the machine, and its power density is the reason a 3 MW plant can move at all. Knowing these engines that well, and being able to get them, cannot be hired in late. It has to be in the program from the start.

No outside money

No venture capital. No outside investors. MagnaVolt is funded entirely by its managing partners, people who knew each other long before this venture and chose each other for it, carrying decades across software, engineering, hardware, manufacturing, racing, and business. That buys something a funding round cannot: nobody here is working to a fund's exit clock, and the people who answer for the machine are the people who own it.
