Specifications

The numbers we publish, and how to get the rest.

We publish what we can stand behind publicly. The full data package (ranges, ratings, site requirements, and test data) is available under NDA through sales.

“On request” means exactly that. The number exists and is shared with qualified buyers, not that it is unknown. We would rather hand a procurement engineer a controlled datasheet than publish a figure we would have to walk back.

MAGNA-502 gas turbine

An aeroderivative of the Lycoming T55, the turboshaft that has flown Chinooks for decades. Turbine power density is what puts megawatts in a machine this size. A free power turbine is what lets the electronics, rather than the engine, decide your output.

Shaft figures are turbine output, before generator and conversion losses. They are not the unit's electrical rating: that is 3 MW. Part-load performance and engine-out emissions across the full load range are in the system data sheet.

Power conversion

EPCU, Extreme Power Conversion Unit

The conversion stage that makes voltage and frequency configuration rather than construction. Preliminary specifications, per module.
